Online: Learn How to Lift Free Weight Recommended beginner equipment: free weights of 2 or 3 pounds, 5 pounds, 8 pounds. Yoga or softer mat, for floor work. Foam roller, 24-30 inches. (In person class, mats and weights are provided.)

Learn proper posture. Understand using your breath and timing for comfort and growth. Add mat work for core strength, and end with some simple stretching.

We use Zoom for our online programs.

Weights & Strength Online immediately follows our Online Tai Chi & Mindful Movement class. We jump straight into 2 sets of weights plus floor work followed by a cool down stretch. If not joining us for Mindful Movement, warm up for a few minutes prior on your own.

This all-levels, balanced workout welcomes and benefits adults of all ages!  Energize your mind and body with movements from the disciplines of Martial Arts/Tai Chi, Yoga, Strength Conditioning, Pilates, Cardio, Stretching and balance challenges.  Participants must have the mobility to transition from the floor to standing.  Join our encouraging and motivating community!

Join a certified group fitness instructor for this action-packed cardio & strength class. Each workout includes a warmup followed by strength, cardio and cool-down/stretching exercises. Your instructor will work with you on any modifications. Class will include equipment such as dumbbells and bands. This class is slightly more intensive than Active Adult/Weights Fitness class.
